Kono Hon wo Nusumu Mono wa

Mifuyu is a high school girl living in Yominaga-cho, a town famous for its love of books. Her great-grandfather founded Mikurakan, a massive and legendary library that defines the city. One day, while her father and manager is away, a valuable collection of books is mysteriously stolen from Mikurakan. In its place, Mifuyu discovers a chilling message: “Whoever steals this book will be pursued by the flag of magical realism.” Soon after, the entire town begins to transform into a surreal world pulled straight from stories and fiction. As Yominaga-cho falls under a powerful curse, Mifuyu and her friends set out on a thrilling adventure to uncover the truth, reclaim the stolen books, and save the city before it is lost forever.
