Ryota Shinonome, an aspiring manga artist struggling to break into the professional world, is frustrated by constant criticism that his romantic comedy stories lack depth because he has no experience with love. Meanwhile, Akemi Oda, a doujinshi artist who also works a regular office job, is under pressure from her family to settle down and get married. Their lives unexpectedly collide through a marriage proposal, and, driven by shared interests, they decide to get married right away—without any dating experience. Now, they embark on their life together as a couple, using their marriage as a cover for their free-spirited, otaku lifestyle!
